July 17, 2013 Day 40

Sunny -  Early P.M. thundershower     100 - 59    Red Rock RV Park - Fruitland, Utah

Today, our travels took us to Salt Lake City.  On the way it looked like snow but it was the salt flat and salt piles.  We walked across the sand to Salt Lake.  It was dirty and smelly with dead birds.  I don't care to ever visit it, again.  It was my first and last trip.  In Salt Lake City we went to the Mormon Tabernacle.  Two young girls who were missionaries took us on a tour.  The Chapel was cathedral like with a huge 1800 pipe organ and it is where the Tabernacle choir sings. The acoustics were awesome. To enter the Tabernacle you must be a Mormon and the women must wear white.
