HAPPY BIRTHDAY to LeAnn and McKenna !!!
Leaving Washington today and we are going to Crater Lake in Oregon. Crater Lake is the deepest freshwater lake in the U.S. and the 7th deepest freshwater lake in the world. 1,932' deep and it is a vivid blue color. Crater Lake was formed by Mazama Volcano erupting 7,300 years ago. The average snowfall for a year in this area is 44' and one year they had 73' of snow. We drove on the highest paved road in Oregon at Crater Lake to Cloud Cap Overlook. Spectacular views.
